Chotu Taj Satta: The 02:50 PM Bazar, Today’s Result, the Record and How the Draw Works

Guide updated · Chotu Taj

Chotu mascot holding a number tile for the Chotu Taj satta guide

Chotu Taj satta is the 02:50 PM number draw seen as a market: a bazar where one two-digit number is declared each afternoon and people who bet on it through a local bookmaker are paid or not. This page explains the market words you will meet around it, how a declared number travels from the draw to the public boards and to this site, what the record is for, what the odds really are, and where the law stands.

People type the name in every order: satta chotu taj, chotu satta taj, taj chotu satta, chotu taj satta bazar, chotu taj satta game. All of them mean the same draw, and the card below carries its number. This is an information site. It does not take bets, it has no contact with any bookmaker, and it never sends numbers.

What Chotu Taj Satta Means

Satta is the Hindi and Urdu word for a bet, and by extension for the whole number game of north India. A bazar, or market, is one named draw within that game. Chotu Taj is a bazar that opens at 02:50 PM IST, between Patna City and Taj on the afternoon board. When someone says chotu taj satta bazar, they mean this draw and the betting that goes on around it.

The draw itself is tiny in mechanical terms. Once a day a small private group declares one number from 00 to 99. That is the whole event. Everything else, the boards, the charts, the chat groups and the sellers, is built on top of that one number. The Chotu Taj Satta King page places the draw inside the wider family; this page stays with the market itself.

The name is a nickname. Chotu means little, so the draw is the "little Taj", a smaller bazar that borrowed the name of the Taj draw and opens 10 minutes before it. Nobody publishes who runs it or where, and this site does not guess. What can be verified is the time, the published numbers and the names other boards use for the same column, which the Old Taj and Chotu Taj page sets out.

Why people search for the market, not just the number

Most visitors want a number, and the card gives it. A smaller group wants to understand the market because someone at home has started talking about it, or because a chat group has been pushing a "chotu taj satta game" and the words made no sense. If that is you, read on. The sellers depend on the vocabulary sounding mysterious, and it stops being mysterious in about five minutes.

Today's Chotu Taj Satta Result

The card shows yesterday's number on the left and today's on the right. XX on the right means the bazar has not opened yet; it is never a result. A few minutes after 02:50 PM the number appears and the line under the card records the minute it was first seen on the public boards.

If a number is all you came for, today's Chotu Taj result is also on the home page with the full board of draws under it, and the result page explains every part of the card. The rest of this page is for readers who want to understand the market, not just read it.

Bazar, Jodi, Haruf and Khaiwal: The Words of the Market

The chotu taj satta game has a vocabulary that is half Hindi, half shorthand, and it appears on every board and in every group. The table explains the words as terms only. Knowing them helps you read a result card and see through a sales message; it is not a guide to betting.

About the khaiwal

A khaiwal is the person who takes bets offline, writes them in a book, collects the stakes and pays out after the draw. He is the only link between a bettor and the draw, and he answers to nobody. If he does not pay, there is no complaint desk, because the whole arrangement is illegal. This site explains the word so that you understand the conversations around you. It does not know, list or recommend any khaiwal, and any site that offers to connect you with one is either running a scam or breaking the law, usually both.

How a Declared Number Travels to the Public Boards

Many people imagine a machine, a studio or a live draw. There is none. Here is the journey of one Chotu Taj satta number, from the moment it is declared to the moment it appears on this page.

  1. Declaration. At or shortly after 02:50 PM the people who run the bazar settle on the day's number. There is no public drawing and no outside check.
  2. The books. The number is passed to the khaiwals who took bets on this bazar, so they can settle their books. This is the first place it exists outside the group.
  3. The groups. From the books it is forwarded through chat groups, usually within a minute or two. This is also where wrong numbers are born: a typo or a mix-up with the Taj draw spreads just as fast.
  4. The public boards. Result websites post the number in the Chotu Taj column of their board. Some are quick, some are slow, and some print a different time for the draw; the number is the same.
  5. This site. An automated process reads a public board every two minutes through the day and every minute around 02:50 PM, checks that the value is a proper two-digit number, and stores it with the time it was read. That time is the stamp under the card.

Two things follow from this journey. The number on any site is a copy of a copy, which is why a time stamp matters more than a logo. And nobody at step four or five can know the number before step one happens, which is why every message offering it early is a guess. The Chotu Taj ka number page deals with those messages one by one.

The Chotu Taj Satta Record

A record is the dated list of every number the bazar has declared. On this site it comes in three sizes: the month chart, the year charts and the combined chart that runs from this draw through the evening to the next morning's Disawar. The public boards carry the Chotu Taj column from the start of 2025, and the record chart page holds the current month with counts under it.

Those counts are the part people misuse. The chart page tells you how often each jodi came, which andar and bahar digits came most, and the longest gap between two appearances of the same number. All of it describes what was published. None of it changes what comes next, because each day's draw is independent of the one before. A record is a memory, not a map.

The year pages go further back. The 2025 chart holds the first year the boards carried the draw, month by month, and the 2026 chart grows through the current year. Both carry the same counts as the month page, worked out over the whole year, with the same warning attached: a count is a description of the past.

Reading the Afternoon Board

The board above lists the draws that open between two o'clock and a quarter past three, in the order they open, with the Chotu Taj row highlighted. Yesterday's number is in the middle column and today's on the right. While the page is open the board checks for new numbers every minute, and a number that has just changed flashes green once.

The board is here because the biggest source of wrong numbers for this draw is the neighbouring row. Taj opens 10 minutes after Chotu Taj with a different number, and Delhi Bazar opens 20 minutes after that. Seeing the three side by side is the quickest way to catch a mix-up. The Chotu Taj and Delhi Bazar page keeps the two biggest afternoon draws together in one combined chart.

The Odds in Chotu Taj Satta: 1 in 100

A two-digit draw has exactly one hundred possible outcomes, from 00 to 99, and one of them comes. If the draw were fair, a person who picked one jodi would be right once in a hundred days on average. A fair payout, one that would leave a bettor level over time, would therefore be a hundred times the stake. Nobody pays that.

The multiple commonly quoted around these bazars is about ninety times the stake for a matched jodi, and about nine times for a matched haruf. The gap between what is fair and what is paid is the margin, and it is where the money goes. The table shows the arithmetic without any opinion attached.

Why the arithmetic of the Chotu Taj satta draw works against the player
Bet type (as a term)Possible outcomesFair multipleCommonly quoted multipleExpected loss per 100 units bet
Jodi (both digits)100100×About 90×About 10 units
Haruf (one digit)1010×About 9×About 10 units
Any bet, repeated dailyIndependent every dayNever changesNever changesThe loss adds up with every bet

Two things make the real picture worse than the table. The draw is not a verified random process, so you cannot even be sure every number has the same chance. And the payout is a promise from a bookmaker in an illegal trade, so a win can simply go unpaid. The arithmetic says you lose slowly; the setting says you may lose faster. The Chotu Taj game page walks through the hundred outcomes step by step.

The Law on Chotu Taj Satta

Betting on this bazar is illegal in most Indian states. The base law is the Public Gambling Act of 1867, which punishes running or visiting a gaming house, and most states have passed their own acts on top of it. Gambling is a state subject, so the details vary, but no state has made the number game lawful.

Since 2025 the online side is settled across the whole country: online money games are prohibited, along with advertising them and processing their payments. An app or website that takes a bet on the 02:50 PM draw is breaking that law, and the money in it has no protection. Reading a published result is not an offence; a dated record of declared numbers is information, which is all this site holds.

The game's background, from the cotton-rate betting of 1960s Mumbai to the Delhi-region draws of today, is summarised on Wikipedia's Satta Matka page. If the draw has become a problem for you or for someone at home, Tele-MANAS offers free and private help on 14416, and the safety page lists the other steps you can take.

What that means in practice

  • A khaiwal who takes your bet is committing an offence, and in most states so are you.
  • No court will help you collect a win that a bookmaker refuses to pay.
  • An app that takes bets on the draw is breaking the 2025 law, and the balance in it can disappear without recourse.
  • Fraud around the market is still fraud: a seller who took your money for a number can be reported on 1930.

Following the Market on a Phone

Almost every reader opens this page on an Android phone, often on a slow connection. The site is plain HTML with large numbers, so it loads on a weak signal and asks you to install nothing.

  • Add the page to your home screen from the browser menu; never install an APK sent over a chat.
  • Keep the page open around 02:50 PM; the board above refreshes by itself every minute.
  • Read the time stamp before you trust a number, here or on any other site.
  • Check the address bar for copycats; this site is chotu-taj with a hyphen and never asks for money or a login.
  • Turn the phone sideways if the combined charts feel cramped.

Stay Safe: Information, Not Advice

Nothing on this page is advice to play. The bazar described here is an illegal market run by people who answer to nobody, the odds are built so that a regular player loses, and the sellers around it profit from hope. Treat every number here as a record of what was published. Keep your UPI PIN and OTPs private, never pay for a number, and if the game is already costing you money or peace of mind, call 14416.

18+ only. Betting on number games is illegal in most Indian states. This site shows published results for information; no number is a prediction, a tip or a guarantee. If gambling is affecting your money, sleep or mood, Tele-MANAS offers free, private help on 14416. Read our page on limits, scams and free help.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Chotu Taj satta in one sentence?

It is the Chotu Taj number draw seen as a betting market: one two-digit number from 00 to 99 is declared at 02:50 PM IST each day, and people who bet on it through a local bookmaker are paid a multiple of their stake or lose it. Betting on it is illegal in most Indian states.

Are satta chotu taj, chotu satta taj and taj chotu satta different things?

No. They are the same three words in different orders, and all of them point to the 02:50 PM draw. The number is the same whichever order you type.

What is a bazar in Chotu Taj satta?

Bazar means market. In the number game it is the name of one draw, so Chotu Taj is a bazar in the same way Delhi Bazar or Faridabad is. Each bazar has its own published time and its own number.

What do jodi and haruf mean?

A jodi is the full two-digit number a draw declares, from 00 to 99. A haruf is a single digit of it: the first digit is also called andar and the second bahar. The chart page counts both for the month and the year.

Who is a khaiwal, and can this site put me in touch with one?

A khaiwal is the offline bookmaker who takes bets and pays winners. This site has no connection to any khaiwal and will never point you to one. Betting through a khaiwal is an offence in most states, and an unpaid win cannot be recovered.

What are the odds in the Chotu Taj satta game?

There are one hundred possible numbers and one comes, so the chance of a single jodi is 1 in 100 on every draw. The payout commonly quoted is about ninety times the stake, which means a regular bettor loses about one-tenth of everything wagered over time.

Does the record help predict the next number?

No. Each draw is independent, so a number that has not come for weeks is not due and a number that came twice last week is not hot. The record is for checking what was declared, nothing more.

Conclusion: Chotu Taj Satta Without the Sales Talk

Chotu Taj satta is a small afternoon bazar that declares one number at 02:50 PM, passes it through the books and the groups to the public boards, and leaves a dated record behind. The words around it are simple once they are explained, the odds are one in a hundred with a payout that never matches, and the bet itself is illegal in most of India and prohibited online everywhere. This site keeps the number, the time it came and the record, and nothing else. For the full picture of the draw and its neighbours, go back to the Chotu Taj home page, and read the Taj Chotu page if you arrived with the words the other way round.
